PROMOSA DOG BLOG 2: DOGS AT HOME

Most of us have relocated our operations to our homes and kitchen tables so we are now reporting to our toughest critics ever - our dogs. Let’s check in with the ladies and lads of our canine division to see how everyone is faring after many months of undivided attention.

LOLA

Lola is the queen of every room she occupies, and spending months propped up on pillows in her Vancouver home suits her just fine, thank you. She keeps a critical watch on the goings-on in the kitchen, where her owners prepare their own bread, pasta and other culinary delights. A friendly cat has joined their household, but having everyone at home ensures there’s always someone around to mediate when the cat enters what Lola considers her personal space.

LAVERNE

Very social by nature, Laverne is used to spending her days frolicking with office pals Lucy and (when she’s in the mood) Lola. She’s getting lots more face time with her family these days, joining them on long snowy hikes and chasing the geese and ducks that happen to cross her path. Laverne balances her active lifestyle with plenty of naps and an active interest in snacking on mini burgers.

LUCY

A regular fixture in the Vancouver office, Lucy misses greeting the staff with morning kisses and wrestling with Laverne. She keeps busy by playing in the parks by her house, and appearing on the occasional team video chat. With both owners working from home Lucy has her paws full supervising from her favourite spot on the couch. Luckily, living in the same neighbourhood as Laverne means that she’s never far away from one of her favourite playmates.

BO

Bo is having the time of his life running around his farm in Langley. His closest neighbours are a bevy of farm animals, so he’s very busy introducing himself to all the new faces on the homestead.

GUNNER + MARCO

New additions to the Promosa Dog family are Gunner and Marco, who have been diligently supervising the outfitting of our new Calgary Office. When they’re not giving their opinions on Shop Manager Iain’s work or interrupting his phone calls with gentle but persistent nudges, they love playing in the park and tearing stuffed toys to shreds.

LEMON

Lemon was a puppy during the start of the pandemic so she’s grown very accustomed to unlimited love and affection of everyone in her home. Even though she’s grown to over 70 pounds, she still loves climbing on laps as if she were still a little puppy, and one of her favourite pastimes is watching TV from inside a pillow and blanket fort.

BOGART THE PUG

Bogart passes his days in his home in Kelowna, where he loves playing in the local parks and trails. He’s a very stylish gentleman, and though the mask he wears in this photo is just photoshop, he appreciates the humans who commit to wearing masks to keep their communities safe.

Bogart likes to keep it safe and stylish in his mask.

CRICKET

As a gentleman who has spent most of his life enjoying the comfort and solitude of the couch during the day, having his owners around 24/7 has certainly changed the game for Cricket. Positive changes include enjoying longer and more frequent walks, while negatives have included…hats.
